About us

Our Story

The founders Andy & Greg have been working together since 2012, developing Warehouse Software for many of the leading retailers such as Amazon, Starbucks, Pets at Home, Michelin, L’Oréal, GSK and many more.

Together they have over 35 years’ experience in the logistics sector and have worked in many different roles within the field.

In 2017, they set up Mobastir to establish a new tech business. The SAMS app was born with the sole aim of creating a value-adding platform to solve the day-to-day practical problems faced in the industry.

“Our focus has always been on Warehousing and Distribution because that’s what we know. The day job is all about solving challenges with user intuitive solutions and it is what we love doing. Our aim has always been to continuously innovate to bring the best in technological advances to the sector and to have a working dialogue with our customers to ensure that what we build is best in class and fit for purpose”

Everyone says it, but in our case, it is true: our team is the secret to our success. We ensure we always have the right mix of talent so that we can stay ahead of the game and always follow the most appropriate strategy.

We are very proud of the team we have built – there are five of us now and we are growing.
Our approach has always been to engage with our people so they feel they are part of that journey and can take pride in what we do together.

If you feel you have what it takes to come and join our dynamic team, do not hesitate to get in touch!

Our Approach

Our approach is customer first, every time, and we will always aim to go above and beyond to find better ways of using our software to make it work the way our customers want it to.

Our value proposition as a business is not only to offer our platform as a great service, but more importantly we have adopted a Build, Measure Learn policy.

The Build-Measure-Learn cycle is a feedback loop that is one of the core components of the Lean Startup methodology. Its goal is to turn uncertainties, assumptions and risks into knowledge or “sure things” that will eventually guide organizations and business towards progress.

As part of this  approach we sit down with our customers and work with them to develop SAMS into a tool that works for their own unique requirements. And the best part? We do not charge for this, it’s completely free!

If we like your idea and can see value, we make the commitment to build it for you, free of charge!

We have a dedicated team who are constantly making enhancements and adding new features to SAMS. Our commitment is to continuously innovate and make regular product enhancements, making SAMS better every day.

All of our improvements and latest releases become available to all our customers at once, we can seamlessly make product deployments with minimal if any downtime to our users so their experience is not compromised

And lastly, on a personal note, Andy and Greg are an approachable, friendly couple of guys with an energy to make a difference, so don’t be shy, come and have a chat with them if you think you’ve got a specific need that we can help you with.
